Croatian concert pianist, Ivan Horvatic, is a graduate of both the Zurich University of the Arts (Masters of Music Pedagogy and Masters of Solo Performance) and the Zagreb Academy of Music (Bachelor of Music and Master of Arts), he is one of the most talented Croatian pianists of his generation.

He has received top prizes at several national and international piano competitions such as: the National Piano Competition, the EPTA Osijek International Piano Comopetition, Opatija National Chamber Music Competition, Moncalieri Piano Competition, Minerbio Piano Competition, and Udine Piano Competition.

Ivan has performed in Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Ukraine, Australia, and the USA. He received a “Darko Lukic” diploma and was invited to meet the president of the Republic of Croatia, Mr Ivo Josipovic, following a solo piano recital in Zagreb in 2010. He regularly appears as a concerto soloist and has performed with Croatian Radio-television Symphony Orchestra, Zagreb Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra, Chernigiv Philharmonic Orchestra, the Atlantic Music Festival Orchestra, Zurich Music Academy Orchestra, and the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra. He has collaborated with conductors such as Marc Kissoczy, Jonathan Schiffman, Mikola Sukach, Aleksandar Kalajdžić and Tonči Bilić, and has recorded for the Croatian and German television several times.

Ivan has participated in masterclasses given by many famous pianists, such as Karl-Heinz Kämmerling (Germany), Karl-Andreas Kelly (Switzerland), Homero Francesch (Switzerland), Mañana Kandelaki (Georgia/Russia), Eugen Indic (France), Vadim Rudenko (Ukraine), Gabriel Chodos (USA), Roger Muraro (France), Natalya Antonova (USA), Bruce Brubaker (USA), and Joseph Irerra (USA).
